class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-41365″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Shanowa-Simon-mug.jpg” alt=”Shanowa-Simon-mug” width=”165″ height=”225″ />On September 26th, 2014, deputies responded to the 80 block of Smetak Road in Deville in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the victim who stated that between approximately 7 am and 3 pm, someone entered his residence by breaking a window on the side of his home. The victim discovered multiple guns and prescription pills were missing but had no idea of who may have burglarized his residence.
Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation. Through their investigation, a suspect was identified as Shanowa Dawn Simon, 29 of Pineville. Detectives were able to obtain evidence that linked Simon to the burglary. Detectives located Simon on November 6th and placed her under arrest for 1 count Simple Burglary.
Simon was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center and later released on a $3500.00 bond. Detectives say the investigation is ongoing.
