Though two witnesses today say Thomas Steven Sanders is brain damaged, the prosecution is countering with their own witnesses who suggest the science is fuzzy.
Sanders was convicted two weeks ago of kidnapping and killing a 12-year-old girl four years ago. This is the penalty phase of the case.
