Winter Festival Idea Approved by Alexandria City Council
The Alexandria City Council approves the first steps in creating a winter festival in December. More discussion about when, what will happen and the cost will happen at the council’s next regular meeting.
A majority of council members say they want to see an event that would be tied into the annual 12 Nights of Christmas and the lighting of the city Christmas tree, all successful programs for several years.
