Nearly seven thousand eggs were divided in three sections of the park and over 300 children showed up to search for the two prized golden eggs.
Youngsters from six to twelve had an even bigger surprise when the Easter Bunny joined in with the fun.
Based on this year’s success, the city plans to have another Easter egg hunt next year.
