On 1/17/2014 a report was filed with the Leesville Police Department in reference to several thefts from Wal-Mart. On 1/27/2014, here an Officer with the Leesville Police Department was requested at Wal-Mart in reference to an employee identifying one male and one female that were suspected of the thefts. The Officer arrived at Wal-Mart and spoke with the employee and then made contact with the subjects. The subjects were detained for investigative purposes. The female was identified as Kala Grettner, tadalafil 23 of Leesville. Although the male had previously given the Officer a false identity, he was later identified as Adam Borreggine, 37 of Leesville. Borreggine was then found to have an active warrant for his arrest.
After further investigation it was found that Borreggine and Grettner were involved in the thefts. Borreggine was booked into the Leesville City Jail on the charges of Contempt of Court Failure to Appear for Trial, Resisting an Officer, Theft-Over $500, 3 counts of Theft-Under $500, and 4 counts of Criminal Conspiracy. His total bond was set at $37,000.00, but a bond has been denied for the Contempt of Court. Grettner was booked on the charges of 2 counts of Theft-Under $500 and 2 counts of Criminal Conspiracy. Her total bond was set at $3,000.00.
