Vernon Parish Drug Agents Destroy Marijuana Plants Valued at 10 Million Dollars

Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft says a zero was left off a first-report on a marijuana caper.  As reported yesterday, Vernon Deputies say they’ve found a large field of marijuana on the west side of the parish.  Agents say they destroyed more than 6 thousand plants cultivated in a plot of almost 3 acres.

Their report said they were worth 10 thousand dollars.  Well, make that 10 million dollars.  That’s because a fully developed plant goes for about 15 hundred dollars.
