Vendor registration is now open for Spring ArtWalk in May

Alexandria, LA – It is time again for the Spring ArtWalk, in conjunction with AlexRiverFête, to be held May 9 from 4-9 p.m. and May 10 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Art vendor applications are now available.

Vendor fees are as follows: registration for non-profits and children 18 and younger, registration fee until 1 p.m. Friday, May 2, and a late registration fee until Friday, May 9. There is a additional charge for electricity.

This fee secures a booth today at ArtWalk. Vendors will receive a registration confirmation email prior to the event. Third Street will be closed at 2 p.m. on May 9 and all vendors are welcome to begin setting up at that time. All booths are assigned upon arrival. The check-in table will be in front of the Kress Theatre, 1102 Third Street. Vendors must check-in to receive booth assignments.

Registration forms and fees can be mailed or delivered to the Arts Council of Central Louisiana, 1101 4th Street, Suite 201, Alexandria, LA 71301, or register online at www.ticket-central.org or www.louisiana-arts.org.

ArtWalk is a free, family-oriented, self-guided walking tour of over 60 participating artists, vendors, and live entertainment acts, held in the Cultural Arts District in downtown Alexandria. Sidewalks, green spaces, and the alleys come alive as local artists demonstrate and sell their works of art. All original artwork sold within the Cultural Arts District is tax-free.
