VA URGENT CARE CLINIC HOURS CHANGE
Pineville, LA – Effective October 6, 2014, the Alexandria VA Medical Center’s Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) hours will change to Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On weekends and holidays, hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The UCC offers care for such illnesses as cold and flu symptoms, high/low blood pressure, high/low blood sugar, and stitches. The UCC is located on the first floor of Building 7 and can be accessed by the South side covered entrance at 2495 Shreveport Highway, Pineville.
For traumatic or other life-threatening emergencies such as stroke, heart attack or motor vehicle accidents, Veterans should seek assistance at their nearest hospital Emergency Room or call 911. For routine office visits and medication requests or refills, Veterans should continue to seek treatment from their primary care provider.
