Treasurer Kennedy Announces Plan to Fund Higher Education

John KennedyState Treasurer John Kennedy is again calling on the Jindal administration to do away with consulting contracts.

Kennedy claims this would save five hundred million dollars, which could be routed toward higher education.  The treasurer also points out that spending on higher education is down around 350 million dollars, and explains his plan, in an opinion column, which can be found by clicking here.
