“The Legacy of Beryl Shipley” Film Showing at LA Sports Hall of Fame
Filmmaker Douglas Dominque previews and discusses his forthcoming documentary, “Lights Out in Blackham”. The film tells the story of coach Beryl Shipley, who made history in 1966 as the first coach to integrate a major sports team at a large public university in the Deep South. Event held at the LA Sports Hall of Fame and NW LA History Museum on Feb. 18th at 6pm.
