goodbookmobileThe Good Book-mobile has been running since the end of May and some changes have been made to the schedule of stops.  Children of all ages from the Garden District, Ivy League Neighborhood, and City Park District may come and get a free book with no library card required.

This summer project is made possible by the First United Methodist Church of Alexandria and is headed up by L.S. Rugg Elementary librarian Emily Murphy.

Tuesdays the bookmobile is parked at Rosenthal Montessori  School at 9:30 and the First United Methodist Church on Jackson Street at 10:30.  Thursdays the bookmobile is parked at L.S. Rugg Elementary School at 9:30 and the First United Methodist Church on Jackson Street at 10:30.

Please allow your kids to come pick up a book and have this experience which enforces that reading truly is a joy.
