Teen Arrested in Hit-and-Run Incident

17-year-old Areon Blackshire of Alexandria is charged with attempted murder, hit and run, reckless operation, and following too close.
Police say Blackshire fled a crash site after she and the victim were involved in a two-vehicle incident. They say the victim tried to stop her, and was injured. He’s listed in serious condition.
