These 13-year-old advanced to the semi-finals but fell short to the undefeated Florida team.
They are still winners because they will be the hosts next year about this time for the 12-state tournament, to be played at the Ward 9 ball park in Pineville. This will be the 60th anniversary of the founding of the league.
