Summer Day Camp Underway in Alexandria
A summer day camp is now underway for City of Alexandria children through August 8th. It’s for children ages 4 to 12, and it runs all day, ending at 6 each night, Monday through Friday.
The camp is designed to provide physical and educational activities for the children.
City officials say the camp is modestly priced and offers field trips, tennis and golf lessons and healthy eating habits.
The city is using the old Boys and Girls Club on Sylvester in City Park for the camp.
