Students, Parents Attend Life Plan Forum

Students and parents gather today for a forum on “Designing My Life Plan.”

The school board and the group, “Families Helping Families,” sponsored the event. They brought in a motivational speaker, Al Duncan of Decatur, Georgia. Duncan is an advocate for youth empowerment.

Community agencies and vendors provided information for parents about their services. Students participated in the forum in an interactive session with Duncan.

The event is designed to inspire them for the summer and for their lives after school.
