Steve Scalise Named House Majority Whip

The number 3 man in the U.S. House of Representatives now is from Louisiana. U.S. Congressman Steve Scalise was elected House Majority Whip in the shake-up that followed Eric Cantor’s defeat and resignation as majority leader.

Scalise is from Jefferson and serves the 1st congressional district.
