State Police Offer Car Seat Safety Workshop

Strapping your child into their car seat seems like a simple task, but experts say parents do it wrong all the time. They say the result can be deadly.

Today, state police conducted a how-to workshop on caring for the littlest passengers.

Technicians say these seats offer the best chance for a child to survive a crash. Troopers say over the last 30 years, almost nine thousand lives have been saved by the use of child restraints.
