Shreveport Area Under Flash Flood Watch

The Shreveport area is flooding with more rain expected. This was the scene as drivers tried to navigate streets that were like small bayous. This was taken earlier this morning. In some cases, rescue crews had to help stranded drivers. By mid-morning, most streets were passable but the area is under a flash flood watch.

Drivers are being urged to move forward with caution when they see standing water.

Weather experts say three to four inches is expected tonight and into tomorrow.
