School Starts Monday in Rapides Parish

School starts Monday for public schools in Rapides parish. Open houses are underway to provide families with opportunities to meet and greet teachers and staff.

We caught up with this group at Acadian Elementary just off Lower Third.

Teachers have been prepping their classrooms for several weeks, and many take this opportunity to encourage parents to become involved in support groups for the schools.
