Sawtelle Selected at Chancellor of CLTCC

He’s Chancellor Jimmy Sawtelle, a Ville Platte native with 23 years experience. The unanimous selected came today in Baton Rouge.

“I am humbled and honored that the Board of Supervisors and President Sullivan have entrusted me with the chancellorship of CLTCC,” said Sawtelle. “I would like to thank our students, faculty and staff, and business partners for their support. We have made great progress over the past few months, but there is much work to be done. I look forward to continuing to meet the needs of our students and the communities we serve through workforce development and transfer opportunities. He added, the future is bright for CLTCC.”

This fall, CLTCC will break ground on a new state-of-the-art campus in downtown Alexandria that will offer a comprehensive college experience by offering high-demand, high wage programs taught by a dedicated and world-class faculty.
