Court officials say last night an electrical problem cut off power to the Federal Court House. The penalty phase of the Sanders trial will resume Monday at a location to be announced.
The disruption happened after 2 days of testimony in the case. A jury will decide whether he lives or dies for the kidnapping and slaying of 12-year-old Lexis Roberts.
The U.S. Post Office inside the federal building is still open with an entrance only through the back.
