Sabine River Flooding Updated Information

Attention All Beauregard and Vernon Parish residents and businesses affected by the Sabine River Flooding:

I have been contacted by Con. Charles Boustany’s office to get the following message out to you. I need your help sharing this message on your page.

16 additional parishes, including Beauregard and Vernon, have now been requested by Gov. Edwards to be added to the disaster areas. This is currently being pushed through today in Washington and is expected to be declared shortly. FEMA is now asking you to contact them to get registered for assistance.

If you have been affected or displaced I have been instructed to tell you to go ahead and register now by contacting any of these sites:

2.) I encourage you to save all receipts for displaced residents, hotels, food etc.for reimbursement, take photos of all damages and document thoroughly the damages as you can.

3.) A one stop station for FEMA, SBA and other organizations will be set up soon in Beauregard and/or Vernon Parishes to assist you. If you need transportation to these sites, please let me know and I will do what I can to get you there.
