Running Inglewood 5k Fun Run/Mile Walk

AHA-Running-Inglewood-POSTERInglewood Farm is proud to announce that we have joined the American Heart Association’s lifesaving mission of building healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.  To that end, we are celebrating National Eat Healthy Day by hosting Running Inglewood, a 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday November 9th, 2013.  Check-in will begin at 9 am and the Run/Walk will begin at 10 am at the Inglewood Harvest Barn at 6233 Old Baton Rouge Highway, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Participants, or anyone else wishing to help raise funds for this valuable cause, can register at www.cenlaheartwalk.kintera.org/inglewood to create their fundraising page.  Those who make an initial donation of $25 will receive a Running Inglewood T-shirt at the event.  In addition to the run/walk, this event will feature Inglewood’s full produce market, hayride, health screenings, children’s activities and more, admission is free and open to the public.  Families, young and old, and anyone interested in healthy living and funding valuable medical research will enjoy this day at the farm.
