Road Work: LA 487
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on May 28, 2015 at 2:45 p.m., LA 487 will be closed approximately 1 mile north of the La 120 intersection. The intent of this closure is to remove a deteriorated 8 foot double barrel corrugated metal pipe. The length of the closure is unknown at this time.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. The detour route is as stated:
Southbound traffic on La 487, then West on La 174, then South on La 175, then East on La 120, to LA 487.
Northbound traffic on La 487 will detour West on La 120, then North on La 175, then East on La 174, to La 487.
