Road Work: intersection of LA 452 and LA 1

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on Friday, June 5, 2015 the intersection of LA 452 and LA 1 will be closed on the east side of LA 1 to allow the contractor to construct the northbound widening. Traffic flow on LA 1 will be otherwise unaffected.

Permit/Detour Section
The intersection of LA 452 and LA 1 will be completely closed on the east side of LA 1 and the detour route is as follows:

North bound traffic will continue on LA 1 until reaching LA 1189 and proceed east on LA 1189 to LA 452.

South bound traffic will continue on LA 452 to LA 1189 and proceed west on LA 1189 to LA 1.

The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
