Road Closure: LA126 near LA505
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 8:00 am, LA 126 will be closed approximately 1.5 miles west of the LA 505 intersection. The intent of this closure is to remove a 24 inch concrete pipe and replace with a 24 inch concrete pipe. This closure is expected to last one day.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. The detour route is as stated: Eastbound traffic on La 126 will detour South on La 501, then East on LA 156, then North on US 167,to La 126. Westbound traffic on La 126 will detour South on US 167, then West on LA 156, then North on LA 501, to LA 126.
