Rick Gallot Drops out of Judicial Race
class=”alignleft wp-image-34368″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/RickGallot.jpg” alt=”RickGallot” width=”168″ height=”210″ />State Senator Rick Gallot of Ruston, whose district includes part of Rapides Parish, is taking his hat out of the ring for the fall.
He had previously announced he would run for a judgeship in the third judicial district. Now he says he will continue to represent his constituents in District 29. He says he came to the decision after the end of the annual legislative session, earlier this month.
