ReEntry Solutions, Roy O. Martin Host Job Training

Re-Entry Solutions is offering a second chance to people who have served time in jail or prison. Over the next few days, training will be offered to those who have limited skills but want to work.

Louisiana has the highest incarceration rate in the United States. Authorities say many people rely on crime to survive because they’re unable to support themselves and their families.

Many people will be trained for jobs at the Roy O. Martin plant. Organizers say applicants are typically selected for their motivation and prior work experience. Re-Entry Solutions holds these training sessions to help people transition to civilian life after leaving the prison system.
