Rapides Symphony Orchestra to Perform Carmina Burana

WHAT: For the final concert of its 48th season, the Rapides Symphony Orchestra will present the ever popular and familiar Carmina Burana under the direction of Maestro Joshua Zona. Between the RSO, Red River Chorale and the Northwestern State University Choirs, over 200 artists will join on stage at Alexandria’s Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center, on Saturday, May 3 for this season finale. Also featured are three nationally acclaimed soloists, soprano Penelope Shumate, baritone Jeffrey Snider, and tenor Jonathan Yarrington.
