Rapides Symphony Orchestra Presents Home For The Holidays

(Alexandria, LA)  It’s the most wonderful time of the year and the Rapides Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Joshua Zona will once again celebrate this joyous season with the popular annual holiday concert on Sunday, December, 8, 2:30 p.m. at the Coughlin – Saunders Performing Arts Center in downtown Alexandria.

With this year’s theme being “Home for the Holidays” the musicians of the Rapides Symphony will be joined by jazz pianist Jordan Baker originally from Alexandria, and the Louisiana College Chorale. The orchestra will again be performing many of the holiday classics.  We’re also anticipating another surprise visit from a certain gentleman from far up north!

Tickets for the concert may be purchased online at rapidessymphony.org or by calling the Symphony office at (318) 442-9709, ext. 2. Tickets are: $25 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for students and $50 for a family (of two adults and up to four children). Tickets will also be available at the box office one hour prior to the performance.
