Rapides Regional Aquires Germ-Zapping Robot

GermZapperExperts are warning the public about the danger of contracting infections in hospitals.

To keep their hygiene practices state of the art, Rapides Regional Medical Center has acquired a germ-zapping robot.  It works a lot like a mosquito zapper.  It’s used in a patient’s room to remove the germs that could cause an infection.

The robot also removes germs from many items carried or handled by family members, which could inadvertently spread germs to a recovering patient.
