Rapides Parish to Participate in ACT Work Ready Communities Initiative
The Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce today announced Rapides Parish is accepted into the ACT Work Ready Communities Initiative.
This is a work force system designed to assist states and regions in developing their work force pipeline to provide skilled workers to employers.
The parish also has been accepted into the ACT Work Ready Communities Academy. This is to provide executive leadership and training for local officials.
A presentation was given by Chief Resource Officer of Gilchrist Construction, sales Valerie Aymond, treat showing how this initiative has streamlined their hiring process.
