Rapides Parish Road Closures

According to the Rapides Parish 911 Center, the following roads in Rapides Parish have been closed due to flooding.

Elmus Paul
Barron Chapel
Denny Rod
Brannon Rd
Hazmuka Rd
Old Beaubouef Rd
Gunter Rd
Hickory Grove Loop
Newsome Rd
Blair Rd
Lee Bridge Rd
Bohannon Rd
Libuse Cut Off Rd

We urge everyone to use extreme caution while driving and please be considerate in neighborhoods where high water is prevalent.  We have had reports of water being push closer to residents because of motorists driving through the high water.
