Rapides Foundation Celebrates 20th Anniversary
The Rapides Foundation is celebrating its 20th anniversary today. The Foundation came about when the old Baptist Foundation was sold and became Rapides Regional Medical Center.
A portion of those funds were set up for good works. And, from arts, to education, to health care information, the Foundation’s leaders believe they’re making a difference in the community.
The newest ventures by the Foundation have included workforce development. Members of the board say they can point to tangible results of their projects. The foundation serves a 9-parish area surrounding Rapides Parish.
