Prompt Succor Student Collects Used Dresses for Needy
A Prompt Succor student is again collecting donations of gently used clothing for those in need. Madeline Jones says this is a boutique of sorts for prom, homecoming and cotillion dresses.
This is the second year Madeline has spearheaded this project and she says it’s a lifesaver for girls her age who just do not have the money to spend on special dresses.
She’ll be hosting the sale Saturday from 10 to 3 at the Timothy Center on 21st Street across from Prompt Succor.
The money will be used for a scholarship to help teens in need who want to attend camp next summer.
