Port Barre Man Dies in ATV Crash Over Weekend

A Port Barre man is killed in an ATV crash over the weekend, and State Police say alcohol is suspected as a cause.

28-year-old Lance Lomas died Saturday night on Highway 190 in St. Landry Parish.

Troopers say he lost control and began to flip, throwing him from the ATV. He was not wearing a helmet.
