Police Chief Mourns Loss of Parents from Fire

John and Florence Berguin were both 68 years old. They were pronounced dead after being pulled from their mobile home on Pasture Road in Campti last night. Firefighters were called to the scene around 9:30, but it was too late.

They were the mother and stepfather of Campti Police Chief Greg Eldridge.

The fire is under investigation.
