Planned Parenthood Supporters Hold Rally at Governor’s Mansion

They argued against the governor’s decision to cut off Medicaid money for the organization. They argue the action cuts access to health care for the poor.

Governor Bobby Jindal ordered a stop to Medicaid payments after videos were recently released by an anti-abortion organization. They claimed Planned Parenthood was selling body parts from aborted fetuses.

Governor Jindal’s office set up a screen at the mansion, playing those undercover videos as the Planned Parenthood protest persisted. Governor Jindal was not at the mansion.
