An FAA spokesman says there were two occupants, the pilot and a passenger, and both were listed in serious condition when flown by Air Med to a local hospital. Lloyd Lunsford of the FAA says the private piper, fixed-wing, single engine aircraft was leaving a private grass strip when it flipped over, and authorities were notified about 3:15 yesterday.

An FAA spokesperson says there were two people in the plane and they were both listed in serious condition when flown by Air Med to the hospital. We’re told the pilot is the Reverend Robert Jordan of West Baptist Church in Oakdale, and his wife was a passenger. He also owns a furniture store in Oakdale.

Authorities are unable to release information about the conditions of the pilot and passenger.
