Pineville Mayor Re-Elected Without Opposition

Pineville Mayor Clarence Fields will serve another 4-year term.  Qualifying ended late Friday and Fields was elected without opposition.

These are the spring elections, with the primary held on April 5th, and run-off’s, where needed, held on May 3rd.

All incumbents on the Pineville City Council were also re-elected without opposition.  There is one new member, Kristy Frederick, who, Fields noted had been a colleague of his when both worked for CLECO.

Early voting is March 22nd to 29th, except for Sunday.
