Pineville Man Dies in Early Morning Shooting

A Pineville man dies after a shooting very early this morning. It happened in an apartment on Sanders Street.

The victim is 26-year-old Montreal Jones.

Police say it happened when several men forced their way into the apartment and began ransacking it. Police say Jones was shot and died this afternoon.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Pineville Police.
