Pineville Hosts Long-Running Christmas Parade

class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-41713″ src=”” alt=”pinevilleparade” width=”500″ height=”240″ />It’s one of the longest parades in the state. The Pineville Christmas Parade over the weekend is a holiday favorite for many people throughout the area.

For the second year, the route began at Forts Randolph and Buhlow State Park. And instead of beads, this group is famous for throwing candy.

The parade has been a featured event for several years and it included marching bands, floats, cars, queens, public officials, elves and even Santa made an appearance.
