October Elections Qualifying Next Week

class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-31641″ style=”margin: 2px 4px;” alt=”SOSSeal” src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/SOSSeal.png” width=”142″ height=”134″ />Qualifying for October elections in Central Louisiana is off to a slow start.

On Monday, candidates will travel to Baton Rouge to sign up for the congressional race.  All elections will be held October 19th.

Political subdivision races are being held in Rapides, Avoyelles, Grant, Natchitoches and Vernon.  The local qualifying continues through Friday afternoon.  Congressional qualifying will run Monday through Wednesday of next week.
