Oakdale Man Dies from House Fire

A 25-year-old Oakdale man died last week from injuries in a house fire. Joey Hampton Junior’s house on South Street burned the previous weekend.

The state fire marshal says four other family members were injured and one remains in the hospital.

The fire is still under investigation. It appears it started in the living room.
