NSU Launches 2+2 Program for Nursing Students

Nursing students at Delgado Community College in New Orleans now have access to NSU to enhance their degrees.

Friday, school officials signed papers for what they call a 2+2 Program. Delgado students pursing science associate degrees in nursing can complete their first two years in New Orleans and then transfer to NSU to complete their bachelors’ degree.

Both schools are duly accredited by the SACS, which is important for students making transfers.

School officials say this program is designed to help students continue their studies even when they are employed.
