NSU Artists Featured in Leesville Exhibit
NATCHITOCHES – Artists from Northwestern State University who participated in a summer trip to Ghost Ranch, malady N.M. will featured in an exhibition at Gallery 111 in Leesville Oct. 12-Nov. 16. “Painted Desert: What We Did On Our Summer Vacation” will open with a public reception at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.
Students and faculty who participated in the trip visited New Mexico artists’ studios and created works of art in several mediums – painting, photography and sculpture – inspired by the people, culture and landscapes of the desert southwest.
Gallery One Ellleven is located at 111 Third St. in Leesville.
