New Year’s Eve 2nd Most Popular Night for Fireworks
Aside from Independence Day, New Year’s Eve is the most popular time for fireworks and there are a lot to choose from. Currently, the state licenses about 800 fireworks stands.
We went shopping to see what’s hot, what’s not and what seems to be the all-time favorite.
The state fire marshal has some warnings for the adults, too. Make sure the children avoid illegal fireworks, which go by the names of M-80, quarter stick or cherry bombs. And always have a garden hose or water bucket handy.
