New Information Released in Double Homicide Case

There’s new information tonight following a double homicide that happened last week.

Police say they received a call of a possible death at an apartment complex in the 700 block of 21st Street before five o’clock last Friday. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of a man and woman inside one of the four apartments. After hearing the specific circumstances, officers were led to believe the causes of death were unnatural.

Officers say they have identified the deceased victims as 25-year-old Richard Prenell and 18-year-old Kiasha Clovis, both of Alexandria.

Authorities are ruling their deaths as a double homicide. The investigation is ongoing.
