Natchitoches Man Charged with Carrying a Firearm in a Firearm Free Zone
Press Release – On October 6, around 11:30 am, APD officers were dispatched to a business in the 3400 block of Masonic Drive. The complainant reported a white male walking around the business with a gun in his rear pants pocket. When officers arrived, they saw a male fitting the suspect’s description in the parking lot between cars. The officers approached the male and instructed him to come to them. The male complied, and admitted to the officers that he had a gun in his back pocket. The officers retrieved the weapon and secured it, and placed the suspect under arrest for carrying a concealed firearm.
