Murder Suspect Arrested

An Allen Parish woman makes her first court appearance this morning in a bizarre murder case.

Allen Parish Deputies say 32-year-old Pamela Fregia is charged with killing 20-year-old Victoria Perez and her unborn child in 2011.

Deputies say Fegia’s 14-year-old child turned her in to authorities.  Over the weekend, deputies say they found bones near Fregia’s home, and the evidence has been sent off for identification.

This morning, Fregia received a court-appointed attorney.  Investigators say Fregia had planned to steal Perez’s baby.

Though Perez was from Lecompte, she had Allen Parish connections.  Deputies say Fregia is also charged with obstruction of justice.
